Satellite-Based Vessel Tracking and Communication Solution

Saankhya Labs Vessel Tracking System consists of a 2-way MSS terminal, NAVDOOT, mounted atop fishing vessels, and an L-Band Multichannel Burst Demodulator installed at the central control location. The MSS Terminal is configured to transmit its geo-location coordinates to the satellite at regular intervals. The signal is synchronized by the in-built GPS system to relay the real-time location of the locomotive. Apart from real-time location tracking, it also enables 2-way communication between the locomotive and the central control.

Vessel tracking provides several advantages, including tracking and monitoring of vessels in deep sea, emergency broadcast messaging in case of storms and cyclones, SOS signaling from boats, quick assistance from nearby boats in case of emergency, identification of friend and foe by coast guard or navy, and preventing boats from unintentionally crossing international boundaries.
