Saankhya Labs: TSMC, Intel, Samsung unlikely to chip in, India could use DIY in semicon
Parag Naik, co-founder and CEO of Saankhya, says more than the foundry, a lack of a robust fabless semiconductor ecosystem that includes buyers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), marketing folk, and a robust OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing) base has been the problem. Developing an ecosystem is a long term process and the government should support it.
